1. Acceptance

Use of the Meluva app ("the App"), operated by [business name / full name] ("we"), is subject to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. Installing or using the App means you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the service is — and is not

Meluva helps families share location, perform check-ins and receive alerts. Meluva is not an emergency service and does not replace the police, ambulance or any rescue service. In danger, call 100 (police), 101 (MDA) or 102 (fire) in Israel, or your local emergency number. The App depends on the phone, battery, network coverage, permissions and third-party services (Apple, Google); delays, inaccurate locations or undelivered alerts can occur. Do not rely on the App as your only safety measure.

3. Who may use it

• A parent/guardian aged 18+ opens an account and manages the family.
• A child uses the App only after a parent created a profile, subject to the consent recorded in the App. The parent is responsible for the child's informed, age-appropriate use.
• Using the App to monitor a person without their knowledge and consent (or a minor's guardian's consent) is prohibited, may violate privacy law, and results in account termination.

4. Account and security

Sign-in is by SMS code to your phone number. Keep your device secure; you are responsible for activity in your account. You can delete your account in the App at any time.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• The App is offered as auto-renewing monthly subscriptions (Basic / Premium) with a free trial as shown at purchase. Billing is through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period (Apple ID settings → Subscriptions). Cancellation does not refund the current period; refunds follow Apple's policy.
• Prices may change with advance notice as required by Apple. One subscription covers one family.

6. Acceptable use

No unlawful use, harassment, hacking, reverse engineering, circumventing plan limits or interfering with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, logo, the name "Meluva/מלווה" and all content are ours or our licensors'. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence for personal family use.

8. Changes to the service

We may change, add or remove features and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. On full discontinuation, the unused part of a prepaid subscription is refunded where the law requires.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "AS IS". To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, nor for damage arising from an undelivered alert, an inaccurate location, a third-party failure or events beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction: the competent courts of [city], Israel, subject to consumer-protection law.
